Great location. Easy to locate with GPS. Quite a big restaurant with capacity of about 100pax. Four of us had whole fish (in lime), Tom-yan Prawn, fried rice, squid, mixed vegetable and crab omelette. Cheap, at 1170 baht. We love the food.

Top of the line Phuket dinner!When we came into the beautiful lush gardens of the Anantara property to go to Sea Fire Salt for dinner, we began to suspect what a special evening was in store. No disappointments - simply excellence and joy once and again. From the Lobster Bisque, to the Shrimp Risotto and perfectly prepared Lamb, through to Lemon Torte and Tiramisu, culinary delights was our experience. Through the evening, Fausto and his staff made certain all our needs were met with engaging hospitality and joy. BTW, great wine and creative drinks were enjoyed as well!

We visit this place in desperation for none 5-stars hotel restaurant (where we stay). It is a little bit tricky to get there but they provide good signboards but I am not sure it is in Thai or English. We order Tom-yam Kung, Stir-fried Leang Vegetable, Deep-fried Seabass, Shrimp in Tamarin Source, and shrimp fried rice. Everything is delicious. The shrimp in everything is big and fresh. However, it should be warned that Tom-yam Kung is cooked in southern style which means it is very hot and spicy which I like it. The place is located next to the beach. Therefore, you could have a nice view of Sarasin Bridge and river-mouth while enjoying your food. The price is reasonable. It costs me about a thousand Baht something for aforementioned foods (and a large bottle of beer). I will come back if I happen to stay at Mai-kao beach again.

We stumbled across this place on our drive back over the bridge to Phuket from the mainland... it is off the main road so get your map/GPS out... Sarasin Seafood is a very popular restaurant among locals, 15 people at the outdoor tables on our arrival and another 15 or so people arriving in the hour we were there. The food was amazing (we had a curry shrimp, fried calamari and tamarind shrimp. .. all were great. The service was superb (the staff&#39;s English was good). We liked the ambience as an authentic local Thai place. It is not Pathong or any of the &quot;ferrang&quot; infested haunts... if you need to be among westerners to feel comfy bring your own. If your looking for a white linen service this isn&#39;t it. If your looking for a large, Thai family restaurant with great staff and great food... this is it!
